London’s Centennial Hall played host to likely one of the loudest Halloween parties in the city last weekend.
Canadian country star Dallas Smith rolled his Side Effects Tour into town with its own circus like atmosphere. Joining Dallas on his adventures are current number one country single holder in the USA Lauren Alaina and southern rockers The Cadillac Three.
Lauren and her posse dressed in character from Austin Powers tore the stage up. Lauren isn’t a stranger to performing in Canada, however this is her first full tour of Canada. I am willing to bet it’s not the last. With the like’s of Road Less Traveled, Doin’ Fine and What If the current #1 Country hit in the USA with childhood friend Kane Brown she dazzled the crowd with her amazing vocals.
The Cadillac Three rocked the stage hard like they always do with their hard southern country fuzz sound. The trio from Nashville cranked the party up to 11 and gave everyone some fist pumping country rock. With the recent release of Legacy, TC3 has a bunch of new tracks they treated the crowd with. Of course they didn’t leave out some of the true beauties like White Lighting and The South which are staples in their set.
The ring leader of the tour is none other than Canadian country star Dallas Smith. With a collection of CCMA awards Dallas took the near capacity crowd at Centennial Hall on a ride! He included new songs, old hits and even dug back into the vault with some classics that helped him start his career way back in the Default days. Dallas had Andrew Hyatt join him to promote Andrews latest release. As well, during the show Shawn Austin came out and sang with Dallas as well. Keep an eye on those two names. Your going to see and hear more of them soon.
Catch Dallas as he now turns the trucks and buses west. They start the western leg of the Tour November 1st in Winnipeg and keep trucking westward. For more info check out Dallas‘ website here.
