It was a beautiful July night…July 19th 2015, the last night of the 21st edition of the Ottawa RBC Bluesfest. On one of my favourite stages, The River Stage…a fantastic stage overlooking the Ottawa River, looking west. A stunning sight at Sundown.
The Tea Party hit the stage just after dark; it was like the hiatus brought back the energy , after solo projects, Crash Karma, trips to Ireland, and hosting their own Midday radio shot (The Rock) …it was nice to have the boys back.
Oh man it was like they never left, over 5000 fans singing away with their best friends. Jeff and the boys got the show started with a classic Tea Party track The Writing’s on the Wall.
The details are a little fuzzy but it was great summer night, a killer show to bring the last of the 21st edition of the fest.
Watch for The Tea Party in your town crossing Canada until the beginning of April with some US and a couple Australia Dates coming up as well.
See you tonight at Algonquin Commons Theatre Doors at 7pm and The Road Heavy Hit the stage at 8pm
