Nova Scotia’s own, Port Cities will play on the main stage on July 7, 2017 at the 9th Annual Cavendish Beach Music Festival.  Winners of the Casino Nova Scotia Artist in Residence Program and the release of their debut album the band is working hard at bringing great music to life.  A number of songs off the album are currently playing at radio.  The band consists of three members originally all from Cape Breton which included Dylan Guthro, Breagh MacKinnon and Carlton Stone.   Three solo artists that came together at a song writing camp, and this wasn’t just any song writing camp.  It was Gordie Sampson’s song writing camp.  Sampson is responsible for writing Carrie Underwood’s- Jesus Take the Wheel which won him a Grammy. Most recently Gordie has written the new single by Florida Georgia Line & the Backstreet Boys – God, Your Mama and Me.  The talented trio, Port Cities, will kick off the Friday event on the main stage which will be concluded with headliner Little Big Town.  They have a whole lot of talent and a whole lot of new music to perform for you.
