Big beats in London as Rock The Park Music Festival pumped out Day 2 – and shook things up. The Rock The Park Music Festival showed its diversity on Day 2 with a killer lineup of Hip Hop artists presented by Virgin Radio London. In stark contrast to the day 1 country performances, things turned 180 degrees when names like Wiz Khalifa and Fetty Wap took control of the stage.

Weather once again was on everyone’s mind as rain, rain and more rain moved through southern Ontario. But the showers settled enough to get the program underway and for reals, this park was rockin’. Little bit of mud doesn’t scare away the crowds from rolling in early.

Hometown London artist Casper The Ghost opened things up and showed why he was inducted into the London Music Hall of Fame. His performance record is impressive and he had the Thursday night crowd eating it up. There is an obvious reason why he was asked to be the first local rapper to hit the Rock The Park stage.

DJ Mustard took over next and also showed why he is an award-winning artist and producer. He has a star-studded resume and nail his set dropping beats old and new while set up behind the Pioneer Dj tables. The massive crowd was jumping and bumping through the entire set.

After a quick stage change over, Fetty Wap blistered the crowd with his original style and music and man, did things heat up here. The New Jersey native exploded onto the Hip Hop scene just a couple of years ago and has risen to the top in short order. No wonder! People love his sound and the way he reaches his crowd. What a show.

The headline artist closing out this night was none other than Wiz Khalifa. The multi-platinum artist took us over the top with what was a stream of high energy performances and this was a killer way to end off the day. The massive crowd couldn’t hold back the excitement as the Taylor Gang dropped some beats before Wiz made his way on stage. He lit it up! Literally.
