I’m starting to wonder if the crew over at WTFest in Brantford have Russian spies watching us behind-the-scenes here at Tour Bus Entertainment. If they do, I’m glad they jumped on the idea a few of us chatted about many months ago — a 90s rock show featuring some of the greatest artists found on compilations like Much Music’s Big Shiny Tunes back in the day.

As this year’s festival line-up continues to roll out, I personally have to say I’m REALLY excited for the names released so far. With Soul Asylum, Collective Soul, and one of Canada’s biggest rock bands to come from the 90s, Our Lady Peace, this festival should be a great, and somewhat nostalgic, time. I cant wait to see who else organizers pull out for this 90s era rockfest. My wish list would include Tonic, The Killjoys, Treble Charger, and maybe a few more of those bands that graced our CD players in high school.

Let’s take a look back at the fun that was WTFest last year — an incredible day of rock ‘n’ roll in Lions Park in Brantford, Ont., featuring The Standstills, Saint Asonia, Monster Truck, Billy Talent, and more.

Here are a few pics from last year’s epic festival. Brantford has been known be the birthplace of the occasional Canadian icon, and if WTFest keeps it up they could become one more “great one” to come from the city.
