Kentucky Rails kicked the night off and for a band who haven played many live shows together these are boys you’re going to want to put on your “must see” list. Rocking their latest single Mexican Restaurant you can tell these guys love what they do on stage. They rolled through their set with ease and the crowd was loving the jams. Wallet was their lead off single and almost everyone in the bar was singing along. Keep an eye on these guys… They are going places!
Every once in a while a great show pops up in a great small venue. This past Saturday in London Ontario we got just that. Local country sensation Genevieve Fisher brought the boys of Kentucky Rails out for a little party at the legendary party bar in London.
Genevieve Fisher doesn’t need much introduction. We have been keeping our eyes on this incredible talent for a while as she keeps rising in the Canadian Country music scene. She had the crowd captivated from the get go with her incredible vocals and fun personality. As she made her way through her set she gave us some of her radio hits like her current single that is climbing the charts – You, Me, We. She also included Take It On Home in the set along with a couple hints at some new music on the way. Near the end of her set she paid special tribute to Canadian music icon, Gord Downie with her rendition of The Tragically Hips Blow It High Dough.
We have to thank both Genevieve and the boys of Kentucky Rails for having us out to their shin dig at a Cowboys Ranch. Make sure you check out both these talented artist on their social media accounts and buy their music!
