9″Do you know where you are? You’re in the jungle, Ottawa,” shouted Rose …

And we were off… Guns n’ Roses returned to Ottawa for the first time in over 20 Years and it was everything we dreamed about and more.   The 90’s rockers brought the Not In Your Lifetime tour to TD Place in Ottawa and it did not disappoint the 23,000+ fans in attendance.

Axel & Slash shared the spotlight from the moment they launched into It’s So Easy till the last note of the night.   Axel hasn’t missed a beat with his outstanding vocals.  His career has been built around that screaming whisper and is still one of the only artists to perfect that over the years.   And how about Slash on guitar?  Is there a better axe player in the world?  We don’t think so and know some of the fans that were in attendance would agree.   Last night brought us straight back to sitting in our cars in the 90’s blowin’ smoke to Paradise City and Sweet Child Of Mine along with the high school dances and the 9 min version of November Rain.   There are still a few more Canadian dates on the tour.  Be sure to get out and catch this one.  It is a worth every cent.
